How to Read a Bar Codes | First 3 Digits in Bar codes know where came from

I was wondering "how to read the bar codes of one item" . when i was browsing in the internet i find out one of the interesting one, and i want to share it to all of you guys.

As you can see the image below, is an example of bar codes. and in the first three digits, you may know where the country made of.

Some of the popular items starts with 690, 691, 692 and those codes are came from China, or Made from China.  471 is Made in Taiwan.

890 - Made in India

690, 691, 692 - Made in China

00 - 09 - Made in USA and Canada

30 - 37 - Made in France

40 - 44 - Made in Germany

471 - Taiwan

45 or 49 - Made in Japan

489 - Made in Hongkong

50 - Made in UK

57 - Made in Denmark 

64 - Made in Finland

76 - Made in Switzerland and Lienchtenstien 

628 - Made in Saudi Arabia

629 - Made in United Arab Emirates

740 - 745 - Made in Central America
